Workbooks and tools

Printable resources for the six days you are not in the room.

Written for my own clients first, then tidied up and made available. Nothing here is a substitute for therapy and nothing here is padded out to justify a price.

The Sunday Night Workbook

Thirty two pages on anticipatory dread. Tracking sheets for the week before, a structured way to work out whether the dread is about the job or about something the job is standing in for, and a Sunday evening protocol that does not involve pretending to be relaxed.

Rules I Was Given

A guided writing workbook for identifying the beliefs running underneath your behaviour, where each one was first learned, and what it was protecting you from. Twenty four pages, works well alongside module two of Ground Floor.

The Rejection Kit

Built specifically for artists, performers and writers. A ninety minute protocol for the day a no arrives, a longer structure for a fallow season, and a workbook on separating self worth from output. Includes printable cards for the studio wall.

Panic, Practically

A short field guide to acute panic. What is happening physiologically, four techniques taught properly rather than listed, and a one page card sized for a wallet so it is available when you cannot read anything longer.

Between Sessions

A therapy companion journal with prompts for the six days you are not in the room. Structured to surface what you actually want to bring next week, rather than arriving and drawing a blank at minute three.

Boundaries Without a Speech

For people who overexplain. Short scripts for the specific sentences that are hard to say, why the urge to justify is usually the pattern rather than politeness, and practice structures graded from mild to genuinely uncomfortable.

All workbooks are delivered as printable PDFs. Current clients receive any of these free on request, and every one of them is included with a reduced fee place. If a price is a barrier, say so and I will send it to you.

Why these exist

Therapy is one hour out of one hundred and sixty eight. The other one hundred and sixty seven are where most of the change actually has to happen.

Every one of these started as something I typed up for a specific client because the thing they needed did not exist in a usable form. The panic guide was written for somebody who could not read more than a paragraph while an attack was building. The rejection kit came out of a season where four separate clients had the same terrible month.

They are deliberately short. A forty page workbook that nobody finishes is worse than a six page one that gets used, and I would rather you completed one properly than owned a shelf of them.

Not sure which one is right

Tell me roughly what is going on and I will point you at the useful one, or tell you honestly that none of them will touch it and what would.
